Check of starter
On-board check
1. Confirm that the battery has been charged.
2. Start up the starter to confirm it is running in stable operation and without noise.
l If incorrect, set the ignition switch onto the “START”position and measure the
voltage at the terminals S and B.
— If the voltage is out of the specified range, check and repair the harness and ignition
switch.
— If the voltage is in the specified range, remove the starter and check the solenoid switch
and starter.
Standard value: >8V
No-load test
