Removal of Interior rear-view mirror
1. Insert a flathead screwdriver wrapped with
tape, between the rear-view mirror and
pedestal.
2. Push the pedestal pin, and remove the
rear-view mirror.

● Insert the rear-view mirror into the pedestal;

1. Remove the rear-view mirror;
2. Wind the handle with both ends of string.
Attention:
● When cutting sealant with a piano string,
a complete piece of string shall be used to
prevent breakage
3. Saw the sealant and dismount the pedestal.
When sawing, the saw shall be drawn out, so
that sawn points are uniformly distributed on
each section of SST (piano string), and the
tool won’t be broken.
Mounting of rear-view mirror pedestal
1. Scrape the original sealant with a blade;
2. Clean the ceramic membrane on the pedestal
and glass and remove grease thereon.
Caution:
● No oil stains and dust are allowed on the
joint surface. Hands off the primer
surface, otherwise no good joint will be
achieved.
3. Apply primer on the joint positions of
pedestal and glass. For the glass, the
application of glass primer is only allowed.
On the pedestal, only the use of bodywork
primer is allowed. Let the coating dry about
30min.
4. Smear on the pedestal, the repair sealant in
thickness of 3.0mm {0.12in}.
5. Place the pedestal in the center of ceramic
coating and then press it on the glass.
6. Use unleaded gasoline to clean the excess of
repair sealant.

7. Install the interior rear-view mirrors.
