Check of dormer switch
1. Remove the reading lamp (See——Electric
Part: Disassembly/Assembly of Reading
Lamp);
2. Check, with an ohmmeter, the continuity
between the pins of dormer switch.
3. If incorrect, replace the reading lamp.
Disassembly/assembly of interior belt line
molding
1. Completely open the front door glass;
2. Remove the door trim panel;
3. Pry up the interior belt line molding end by
use of a flathead screwdriver wrapped with
tape and pull up to remove it;
4. In assembly, fit the interior belt line molding
on the internal panel, and then install the door
trim panel.
Disassembly/assembly of luggage rack
1. Pry up (1) the mounting cap of luggage rack,
by use of a flathead screwdriver wrapped
with tape and remove it;
2. Pry up (2) the mounting cap of luggage rack,
by use of a flathead screwdriver wrapped
with tape and remove it;
3. Use a wrench to remove 4 fastening nuts (3)
in front of /behind the luggage rack assembly
(R) and then the luggage rack assembly;
4. Remove as per the above method, the luggage
rack assembly (L);
5. Install in the reverse order with the removal
(Tightening torque of nut (3): 7.8～11.8N.m)
Attention shall be paid to align the mounting
snaps of luggage rack with the mounting hole
of bodywork and then compress by beating.
