Disassembly/assembly of dormer unit
1. Disconnect the negative cable of battery;
2. Remove the reading lamp (See——
Disassembly/Assembly of Reading Lamp);
3. Remove the roof (See——Disassembly/
Assembly of Roof);
4. Disconnect the connection between dormer
connector and the reading lamp;
5. Remove the front/rear drainage hoses from
the dormer;
6. Remove the bolts and nuts and then the
dormer.
7. Install in the reverse order with that of
removal.
Removal of dormer motor
1. Disconnect the negative cable of battery;
2. Remove the roof (See——Disassembly/
Assembly of Roof);
3. Disconnect the connection of plug;
4. Remove the screws and then the dormer.
Mounting of dormer motor
1. Connect the plug of dormer motor;
2. Connect the plug of dormer;
3. Connect the negative of battery cable;
4. Toggle the ignition switch to the ON position
5. Press down the dormer switch Off until the
dormer motor shuts down;
6. Disconnect the connection of dormer plug;
7. Install the screws and then the dormer motor;
8. Install the roof (See——Disassembly/
Assembly of Roof).
Check of dormer motor
1. Remove the dormer motor (See—— Removal
of Dormer Motor)
2. Connect the positive cable of battery with the
pin of dormer motor and check the motor
performance.
B+: Positive voltage of battery
3. If incorrect, replace the dormer motor
Disassembly/assembly of dormer switch
Note: the switch of dormer is integrated with
the reading lamp.
1. Disconnect the negative cable of battery.
2. Remove the reading lamp (See——Electric
Part: Disassembly/Assembly of Reading
Lamp).
3. Install as per the reverse order with that of
removal.
