When performing an asterisked (*) troubleshooting, shake the wiring harness and connectors to verify
whether the intermittent malfunctions are caused by poor contact. If there is a problem, make sure connectors,
terminals and wiring harness are connected correctly and undamaged.
Troubleshooting procedure

Inspect a/c compressor operation.
l Start engine.

Inspect refrigerant quantity.
l Inspect refrigerant quantity. Is it normal?

l Is it normal?
Yes Go to next step.
No Add or discharge refrigerant until
specified level reached, and then go to
step 28.

Inspect a/c switch indicator.
l Does a/c switch indicator illuminate?
Yes Go to step 8.
No Go to next step.
