Inspection of air gap
1. Check the clearance between the wheel speed
sensor and sensor.
Clearance: 0.2 --1.3 mm {0.007 --0.051 in}.
Inspection of resistance value
1. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor joint of ABS
control unit.
2. Check the resistance of wheel speed sensor of
ABS control unit
If the resistance value doesnt meet the
requirements, replace the wheel speed sensor.
Resistance value: 75 KΩ±1%
Inspection of current
1. Jack up the vehicle on a level ground by use of a jack, shore up the vehicle on a safety seat,
2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor joint of ABS control unit.
3. Turn every wheel at the speed by one turn per second and check each sensor. If the voltage value doesnt
meet the requirements, replace the wheel speed sensor of ABS control unit.
