MPF cam gear removal
1 Remove the alignment assembly. Go to “Alignment assembly removal” on page 309.
2 Release the hook (A) securing the gear to the unit.

3 Remove the MPF cam gear.
Redrive motor assembly removal
1 Remove the laser cover. Go to “Laser cover removal (models X651, X652, X654, and X656)” on
page 325 or “Laser cover removal (model X658)” on page 327.
2 Remove the six screws (A) securing the metal cover to the machine.
