6.14.17 Lifting unit side shift
Side shift of the defoliator and lifter enables a larger distance between the front wheels
and the next row of beets. Especially in case of wet soil, you avoid having the next row
of beets pressed away and the soil being flung into the field.
ATTENTION
Danger of machine damage.
– Defoliator and lifter may only be side-shifted if they have been lifted completely off
the ground.
ATTENTION
Danger of machine damage.
When the lifter is shifted to the side the rollers movement must also be shifted to
match the position of the lifter. If the roller movement cannot be shifted to the required
position, it may block the side shift of the lifter.
