The three-point suspension cannot be lowered to the ground with the mini-joystick (1)
with the defoliator folded in maintenance position. It automatically stops lowering at a
safe height above the ground. It can only be lowered further by pressing and holding
the service key (24). This function protects the adjusting spindles and the rollers move-
ment.

ATTENTION
The lifter must not be lowered to the ground with the defoliator raised on the
rollers movement. This would bend the adjusting spindles of the rollers move-
ment.
The lifter must be lowered to the ground only on the lifting shares or the depth-
control roller.
7.8.2 Setting the leaf sensor
Before the start of each harvesting season, adjustment of the leaf sensor must be
checked as follows and, in case of need, readjusted:
Two people are required for this activity. One person moves the leaf sensor, the sec-
ond person reads the values determined on the R-Touch.
Switch on ignition, but do not start the engine.
Open expert mode on the R-Touch (See Page 124) and call up the display field
"Steering" (See Page 110).
