You can check whether the hydraulic oil cooler fan is really running at maximum
speed as follows:
– Pull the plug (3) labelled "Y136" from the reversing valve on the oil motor of the fan.
– Pull the plug (1) labelled "Y16" from the oil motor of the fan.
The fan should then operate at maximum speed and can no longer reverse.
The same applies to the ventilator of the engine radiator (water radiator/charge-air
cooler).
– Pull the plug (4) labelled "Y146" from the reversing valve on the oil motor of the fan.
– Pull the plug (2) labelled "Y99" from the cooler fan pump.
The fan should then operate at maximum speed and can no longer reverse.
