7.4.2 Maintenance knuckle joints of the axles
The knuckle joints of the double joint shafts in the stub axles of the three steering
axles must be lubricated every 200 operating hours. Each knuckle joint contains two
lubricating nipples. Both lubricating nipples (2) must be lubricated.

To simplify lubrication of the universal joints in the rear axles set the menu item "Man-
ual control articulation steering" in the "Special functions" menu to "Active" (See
Page 208). If manual control is active, the two rear axles can be moved synchronously
to the limit stop with the joystick. The lubricating nipples are therefore easier to reach.
This function is meant exclusively for maintenance and repair work on the machine.
