Chapter 4 Provisioning
Provisioning the Ethernet Ports
Use the following procedure to configure both independent ports on IOC 1 to allow
Ethernet auto-negotiation. In this example, Port 1 allows all connection speeds, and
Port 2 only allows a connection speed of 100 M.
1. Login at the admin or Config-user level.
2. Type
set eth-auto-neg state ioc1-1 enable and press Enter.
3. Type
set eth-auto-neg speed ioc1-1 all and press Enter.
4. Type
set eth-auto-neg state ioc1-2 enable and press Enter.
5. Type
set eth-auto-neg speed ioc1-2 100m and press Enter.
