Chapter 4 Provisioning
Provisioning the Programmable E1/T1 Outputs
If the output frame type supports SSM and SSM is enabled for the output port, then
the output signal will contain the system SSM value. Table 4-18 shows the output
SSM value based on the clock state of the TP5000.
2048kHz Frame Type
To provision Port 1 as an output port with a frametype of 2048kHz, CRC disabled,
SSM disabled, and to enable the port:
1. Login at the Admin or Config-user level.
2. Type
set io port1 output and press Enter.
3. Type
set output frametype port1 freq2048khz and press Enter.
4. Type
set output crc port1 disable and press Enter.
5. Type
set output ssm port1 disable and press Enter.
6. Type
set output state port1 enable and press Enter.
CCS Frame Type
To provision Port 2 as an output port with a frametype of CCS, CRC enabled, SSM
enabled, SSM-bit of 4, and to enable the port:
1. Login at the Admin or Config-user level.
2. Type
set io port2 output and press Enter.
3. Type
set output frametype port2 ccs and press Enter.
