21.1.5. Test relays
To test relays:
1. GotoModules andselecttheGO TO buttonofthedevicetobetested.
2. IntheRelays table,selecttheTest Relay buttonoftheselectedrelay.
3. Iftherelayisinandenergizedstateitwillbecomede-energizedforoneminute.Ifitisde-
energized,itwillbeenergizedduringthetest.Toendthetestearly,selecttheStop Test button.
4. Relayscanalsobetestedbygoingtotheindividualrelaymenu.
21.1.6. Test comms lost action
To test the comms lost action feature:
1. GotoModules andselecttheGO TO buttonofthedevicetobetested.
2. IntheRelays table,selecttheGO TO buttonoftherelaytobeconfiguredfortheComms Lost
Action.
3. Ensuretherelay’snormalpositionissettoEnergized.
4. Onceconfigured,gotoController > Communication > CAN anddisableeachenabledCANbus.
5. Waitfiveminutes.
6.
Afterfiveminutestherelayconfiguredasacommslostrelaywillde-energize.Toconfirm,verifythe
relaystateusingadigitalmultimeter.Re-enabletheCANbusesandtherelaywillenergize.
Notice: The Comms Lost Action is only available on controller version 6.10 and later, and
firmware in the CAN module must have a version that supports this feature.
21.1.7. Enable temperature sensor failure alarms
TheTemperature Sensor Failure alarmactivatesifthevoltageonthetemperatureinputisbelowor
abovetheoperatingrangeoftheinput.Ifthesensorisunplugged,thevoltagewillbezeroandthealarm
activates.Ifyouaccidentallyapplybusvoltagetothetemperatureinput,thealarmactivates.
