23.2.7. Rectifier configuration error
Ifthereisaconfigurationerroralarmactive,checktherectifiersettings:
1. GotoSystems > DC System > Inventory > Rectifiers > Configuration.
2. ChecktheOver-Voltage Protection Threshold value.Itmustbesethigherthananysystem
Equalize,Boost,Absorption,orSystemVoltagesettings.Theexactmarginrequireddependson
thetypeofrectifiers,but48voltrectifiersrequiredatleast1volt.
3. CheckthatSystemFloatVoltage,EqualizeVoltage,BoostVoltage,andtheOver-Voltage
ProtectionThresholdaresetwithintherangessupportedbytherectifiersonyoursite.
4. Trysettingrectifierconfigurationtothedefaults.
5. Checktherectifiermanualinformationaboutsettingranges.
6. Saveanychanges.Itmaytakeseveralsecondsforthechangestotakeaffect.
23.2.8. Rediscovering CAN devices
Ifalloftheinstalledequipmentdoesn'tdisplayaftermaintenanceitmaybecausedbydefectiveCAN
buscablesorsequencingofremovalandreplacementofequipmentwiththecontrollerpowereddown
removed.
1. CheckthatallCANbuscablesareinstalledandterminated.
2. PowercycleCANdevicesifpossible.
3. Updatedevicefirmwareifneeded.
23.2.9. Replacing a defective ADIO peripheral
WhenanADIOperipheralfailsorispermanentlyremoved,thesystemgeneratesanalarm.Thealarmis
clearedbyremovingthedevicefromtheinventory.Toremovethedevicefromtheinventory:
1. RemovethedefectiveADIOdevice.
2. InstallthenewADIOdeviceandconnectallthewirestothesameterminals.
3. GotoModules.IntheCAN Modules table,locationtheADIOandselecttheReplace buttonand
followthewizardinstructions.
4. Checkandupdateanyotherconfigurationparameterswhererequired.
23.2.10. Troubleshoot a battery test
CalculationsforSOH,SOC,andRTRBatteryTestalgorithmusedbythecontrolleraredesignedto
workwithleadacidbatterieswhichhaveaPeukertexponentbetween1.0and2.0.Checkyourbattery
manufacturers’specificationstoensurethatthebatteryiswithintheseconstraints.Whenabatteryisnew,
andfullycharged,abatterytestshouldshowthebatterytohave100percentEstimated State of Charge
and100percentormoreEstimated Battery Health.Ifitdoesnot,checkandcorrectthefollowing:
