4. SelecttheFinish buttontoacceptthechange.TheresultingtableshouldhavethenewADIO
moduleinitalongwithallofthemappingsandconfigurationfromtheoldADIOmodule.
5. VerifytheADIOmodule.
VerifythatthenewADIOmoduleisreadingtheinputscorrectly,andthatanyinventoryitemsarereporting
thecorrectvalues.Forexample,checkthattheloadorbatterycurrentreadingsarecorrect.
21.1.3. Calibrate analog inputs
Notice: Calibration is considered an expert user task. Users must be logged in with Administrator
privileges to perform this calibration.
ThissectioncoversthecalibrationofanaloginputsontheADIOmoduleincludingvoltage,current,current
transducerandtemperature.ThiscalibrationmethodisonlysupportedfortheCordex®HPfamilyofADIO
smartperipherals.OlderADIOmodulessuchastheshuntmultiplexer(MUX)canbemonitoredviathe
controllerbutcannotbecalibrated.
ThefactorycalibrationofCordex®CXCHPADIOperipheralsisveryprecise.Itshouldnotbeanormal
practicetorecalibratetheminthefield.Ifyouneedtoapplyadeliberatemis-calibration,werecommend
theuseofcustomdatafieldstodocumentandperformthistypeofconversion.
Ifthefactorycalibrationvaluesneedtoberecalculated,therearethreecalibrationmodes:
• Slope/offsetcalibration
•
Single-pointcalibration
•
Two-pointcalibration

tion toconfirmthatzerovolts(ormillivolts)isreadingasexactlyzerovoltsonthe
ADIOmodule.Foratemperatureinput,youmaywanttoconfirmthat3.0Visbeing
readaccurately.
