1. GotoSystems > DC System > Inventory > Shunts.Youwillseealistofshuntsinthesystem.
Addorremoveshuntsfromthispage.
2. SelecttheGO TO buttonfortheshuntyouwanttoconfigure.
3. IntheConfiguration table,assigntheshuntanameanddescription.Werecommendthatyou
assigntheshuntanamethatrepresentstheactualshunt.ForexampleyoumightnameitBattery
Shunt.
4. SelecttheShunt Current Source.ThisisthecurrentinputonanADIOmodulethattakesa
voltagereadingacrosstheshunt.
5. EntertheRange in Amps fortheshunt.
6. EntertheRange in Millivolts fortheshunt.
7. EntertheOffset Calibration fortheshuntiftheshuntreadingerroristoohigh.
5.3.7. Configure the system loads
Bydefaultthesystemhasoneload.Youmayaddorremoveloadsasneeded.
To configure each load:
1. GotoSystems > DC System > Inventory > Loads.Youwillseealistofloadsinthesystem.Add
orremoveloadsfromthisscreen.
2. SelecttheGO TO buttonfortheloadyouwanttoconfigure.
3. IntheConfiguration table,assigntheloadanameandadescription.Werecommendthatyou
assigntheloadanamethatrepresentstheactualload.

SelecttheLoad Voltage Source.ThisisthevoltageinputonanADIOmodulethattakesavoltage
readingneartheload.
Notice: If you do not have this connected, you can select the input that reads the battery
voltage or system voltage.
5. SelecttheLoad Current Source.Thisistheshuntinputthatreadstheloadcurrent.Ifyouhavea
realshuntreadingfortheloadcurrent,thenselecttheshuntfromthedropdownmenu.Ifyoudon't
seetheshuntyouwant,thencreateit.
Ifyoudonothaveashuntforreadingtheloadcurrent,thenselectthe'virtual'inputthatcalculates
theloadcurrentbysubtractingthetotalrectifieroutputcurrentminusthebatterycurrent.
6. SelecttheEDIT buttonfortheLoad Breaker/Fuse Source.SelectthedigitalinputontheADIO
modulewhichisconnectedtomonitorthebreakerorthefuse.
IfyouneedtochangethepolarityfortheLoad Breaker/Fuse Open alarm,gototheModules
menuandselecttheappropriateADIOintheCAN Modues table.Then,openthedetailsof
theappropriatedigitalinputfromtheDigital Inputs tableandchangetheActive When entry
accordingly.
