Carry out the DTC test.

Whether the DTC has been recorded？
Yes Check as per the corresponding DTC.
No Go to the next step
4 Whether the battery voltage is normal？
Yes Go to the next step
No Check the battery and charge system

Whether the battery is normal when the engine
runs idle and has electric load？
Yes to the next step
No Check the charge system

Disconnect the control modular joint of ABS
control unit, connect the SST only at the harness
side of vehicle. Use the SST joint and connect
the lead of alarm light to the bodywork
grounding.
Whether the alarm light of ABS control unit
goes off when the ignition switch in the ON
position turned.

Check and repair the power supply of
ABS control unit modular and
grounding 1
No
Check and repair
The break-circuit occurred in the
connection harnesses between the
alarm light circuits of ABS control
unit modular, alarm light and
instrument panel

Although the alarm light of ABS control unit is common in the system, but there are in
fact, the faults in the system

Yes Check as per the corresponding DTC.
No Go to the next step

Carry out the “Inspection of Hydraulic Pressure
Unit System of ABS Control Unit “
See——ABS control unit, Check of Hydraulic
Pressure Unit of ABS Control Unit.
Whether the check result is normal？
Yes Check the conventional brake system
No
When the wheels don’t rotate, replace
the hydraulic pressure unit of ABS
control unit;
When the wheels run, but in a wrong
sequence.
Check the piping of hydraulic
pressure unit of ABS control unit on
the brake oil lines.
