T640 Power System Description
The router supports two load-sharing DC power supplies, located at the lower rear of
the chassis. The power supplies connect to the midplane, which distributes different
output voltages produced by the power supply to the router components, depending on
voltage requirements.
The T640 router supports the DC power supplies in Table 51 on page 96.
NOTE: Mixing power supplies with a different number of inputs in the same
router is supported only during upgrade. Mixing different types of power
supplies is not supported during normal operations.
