damaging the connector pins on the front of the midplane.

Installing a T640 CIP
To install the CIP (see Figure 118 on page 270):
1. Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist, and connect
the strap to one of the ESD points on the chassis.
2. Grasp the CIP handle with one hand and hold the bottom edge of the CIP with the
other hand to support its weight.
