Overview of Installing the T640 Router Without a Mechanical Lift
To install the T640 router without a mechanical lift:
1. Review the safety information. To avoid harm to yourself or the router as you install
it, follow the safety guidelines and procedures for working with routers. However,
providing an exhaustive set of guidelines for working with electrical equipment is
beyond the scope of this documentation.

2. Verify that the site has been prepared for the router installation.
See “T640 Site Preparation Checklist” on page 117.
3. Verify that the mounting hardware has been installed.

4. Remove the router from the shipping crate.
