"RMS"
The individual carriers are leveled based on their RMS power and the
configured "Carrier Gain".
Example:
A multi carrier signal is composed from two waveform files.
First carrier "Gain" = 0 dB
Second carrier "Gain" = -3 dB
In the resulting multi carrier signal, the RMS power of the second car-
rier signal is 3 dB lower than the RMS power of the first carrier signal.
"Peak"
The individual carriers are leveled based on their peak power and the
configured "Carrier Gain".
Example:
A multi carrier signal is composed from two waveform files.
First carrier "Gain" = 0 dB
Second carrier "Gain" = -3 dB
In the resulting multi carrier signal, the peak power of the second car-
rier signal is 3 dB lower than the peak power of the first carrier signal.
Example: Multi carrier signal composed of waveforms with dif-
ferent crest factor
A multi carrier signal is composed from two waveform files with the
following characteristics:
3GPP FDD signals with the same "Sample Rate" but different "Crest
Factors".
"Peak" = 0 dBFS
"Carrier Gain" = 0 dB
The Peak values of the carrier signals are equal, the RMS values are
different.
