– Hold the safety filter by the handle (5).
– To release the filter, pull it and tilt it
towards the centre of the housing.
– Remove the filter.
– Thoroughly clean the inside of the
housing with a moist cloth - pay partic-
ular attention to the sealing surface for
the filter elements. Be very careful so
that no dirt get into the pure air side of
the filter.
– Use only original filter elements
(ROPA main filter element
item no. 304000600; ROPA safety fil-
ter item no. 304000700).
– During installation make sure that the
tab (7) slides into the positioning slot
(8).
– Press the filter back into the seat.
– Press a new main filter element into
the filter seat with the handle at the
top.
– Close the service cover. Make sure
that the nose (9) on the service cover
holds the main filter element with the
nose (10) at the correct position.
