4.3.3.3 Install MDFU or MDFU-E (not for USA)
Introduction
The following are used as main distribution frames:
● MDFU-E, which is shipped with new systems (see Figure 4-72).
● the MDFU (one MDFU unit per system cabinet), which was used for Hicom 150 E OfficePro
in Release 2.0 and earlier (see Figure 4-71).
Installation notes
The main distribution frame should be installed in the direct vicinity of the system (note length
of connection cable) and at eye level. Mount it on the wall according to the instructions that
came with it. The bag attached to the cover contains a drill template. It also contains the nec-
essary screws and wall anchors for attaching the MDF to the wall.
Procedure for wall mounting
Step Activity
1. Use the template to drill holes.
2. Insert the wall anchors and screw in the screws, leaving 5 mm projecting.
3. Remove the housing cover. Attach the main distributor frame to the brackets and
remove the packing protection covering.
4. Tighten the screws through the holes.
