TheAddWindowdialogboxmakesitpossibletocreateanewwindowforadedicated
echogrampresentation.Thenewwindowcancontainacopyofanexistingechogram
channel,oritcanbeusedtopresentachannelthatiscurrentlynotvisible.
Prerequisites
TheAddWindowdialogboxisalwaysavailable,evenifyouonlyworkwithasingle
display.YoucanonlyplaceanewwindowonasecondarydisplayifyourProcessor
Unitisttedwithasuitablegraphicadapter,andthenecessaryadjustmentshavebeen
madeinthedisplaydriver.

TheAddWindowfunctionhasbeenimplementedtoshowechogrampresentationson
multipledisplays.ThefunctionisalsousefulifyourProcessorUnitisonlyttedwitha
largesingledisplay.
Procedure
1OpentheDisplaymenu.
2ClickthemiddleoftheDockingViewsbuttontoopenthesecondaryfunctions.
3SelectAddWindowtoopenthedialogbox.
4Selectwhichchanneltocopytoanewwindow.
Inthiscontext,thephrasechannelisusedasacommontermtoidentifythe
combinationoftransceiver,transducerandoperatingfrequency.
5SelectOK.
Thenewwindowcontainsthechosenechogramchannel.Youcanmovethis
windowtoanydisplayusingthefunctionalityprovidedbytheoperatingsystem.To
closethewindow,clickthe"X"initstoprightcorner.
Youcanrepeatthisasmanytimesnecessary,andthusestablishaseparatewindow
foreachechogramchannel.
