ThedigitshownintheBiomassinformationpaneisacalculatedindex.
Tip
TheBiomassLineallowsyoutomonitorthecurrentbiomassintheechogram.This
functionwritesanextrathickandbrightlycolouredcurveontheechogram.The
BiomassLineshowsyouthemeasuredbiomassforeachindividualping.Youcanchange
thescaleofthecurvetottheverticalspaceavailableontheechogram.Toenablethe
BiomassLinefunctionandchangethescale,usetheLinespageintheEchogramdialog
box.
Itispossibletoconvertthebiomassindextoweight(forexampleinmetrictons).Based
onpracticaluseoftheES80indifferentsheries,youwillsoonbeabletoestimatethe
weightwhenyouknowthetypeofshandtheirsizes.
Procedure
1Clickinanyechogramviewtomakeit"active".
Thesettingyouchoosewillonlybevalidforthecurrently"active"echogram.The
"active"echogramviewisidentiedwithathickerborder.
2Onthetopbar,selecttheappropriatebuttontoopentheinformationpane.
3Clickthebottomrightcorneroftheinformationpane,anddragtorequestedsize.
4SelectaTransparencysettingthattsyourrequirements.
Thechosentransparencypercentageisusedonallopeninformationpanes.
