Unlessyouneedtomakefrequentchangestotheoperatingparameters,you
maywanttohidethemenufromtheES80presentation.Thiswillgiveyoumore
spacetopresentechodata.Tohidethemenu,selectMenuonthetopbar .To
retrieveit,selectMenuonemoretime.Whenthemenuishidden,itistemporarilyshown
ontheleftorrightsideoftheES80presentationifyoumovethecursortothatposition.
Usingthe“smart”menubuttons
EachmenuprovidedbytheES80containsseveralmenubuttons.Eachbuttonshowsthe
purposeofthebutton.Someofthemalsodisplaythecurrentsetting.
Dependingonthepropertiesofeachindividualbutton,severalmethodscanbeused
tochangesettings.
•Youcanincreaseordecreaseparametervaluesbyselecting[+]or[-]onthebutton.
•Youcanchangeparametervaluesbyselectingthebutton,holdingthemouse
depressed,andthenmovethecursorsideways.
•Youcanchangeparametervaluesbymeansofthescrollwheelonthemouseor
trackball.
•Youcantypesettingsusingacomputerkeyboard(ifyouhaveoneconnectedtoyour
ProcessorUnit).
•Youcanselectsettingsfromasmallmenuunderthebutton.
•Youcanopenadedicateddialogbox.
