ThebottombarintheES80presentationallowsyoutoselectwhichechogramviewsyou
wishtosee,andhowtheseareorganized.Thenumberoftabsavailableonthebottom
bardependsonhowmanychannelsyourES80has.
Context
Thebottombarisavailableallthetime.Thetabsonthebottombarallowsyoutochoose
channelandpresentationmode.Adedicatedtabprovidesaspecialviewforyoutosee
thescreencapturesyouhavemade.Thebottombaralsoshowsyouthecurrentcolour
scale,aswellasthetimeanddate.
Thenumberoftabsavailableonthebottombardependsonhowmanychannelsyour
ES80has.Twotab"groups"allowyoutoselectchannelsandviews.Thisexampleshows
theES80withtwochannels.Inthiscontext,thephrasechannelisusedasacommon
termtoidentifythecombinationoftransceiver,transducerandoperatingfrequency.
Thetabsonthebottombarallowsyoutocontroltheechogrampresentation.
•Selectingpresentationmodes
Threepresentationmodesareavailablewhenyouwishtoseealltheechogram
channelssimultaneouslyintheES80presentation.Thethreetabswillarrangethe
echogramviewsvertically,horizontally,orinrectangularrowsandcolumns.
TheVerticalandHorizontaltabsareonlyshownifyouhavetwoormorechannelsin
useonyourES80.TheSquaretabisonlyshownifyouhavethreeormorechannels.
Bydefault,theechogramviewsareautomaticallyarrangedintheES80presentation.
Youcanclickanddragtheborderofeachindividualviewtochangeitssize.Thesize
oftheotherviewsarereducedaccordingly.
•Selectingindividualechogramchannels
Eachchannelisshownwithadedicatedtab.Thechannelisidentiedwiththename
ofthetransducerinuse.Thisnameisthecustomnameyouprovidedwhenyou
installedthetransducer.Selectaspecictransducertabtoseeonlythatchannelinthe
ES80presentation.Inthiscontext,thephrasechannelisusedasacommontermto
identifythecombinationoftransceiver,transducerandoperatingfrequency.
Procedure
•ObservethebottombaratthebottomoftheES80presentation.
•Selecttheappropriatetabtosetupthepresentationoftheechogramviews.
ASelectSquare,V erticalorHorizontaltoarrangetheechogramviewsaccordingly.
BClickthenameofatransducertoseetherelevantechogram.Theechograms
fromtheotherchannelsarehidden.
