TheDepthAlarmsreadoutislocatedontherighthandsideofthetopbar.Ifthecurrent
depthchangestoexceedthelimitsyouhavechosen,thealarmistriggered.Usethis
dialogboxtodenethealarmlimitsforminimumandmaximumdepths.

ToopentheAlarmLimitsdialogbox,double-clickDepthAlarmonthe
topbar.
Description
TheAlarmLimitsdialogboxallowsyouto
setuptheoperationalpropertiesforthedepth
alarm.Inadditiontothedepthlimits,youcan
disabletheentirealarm,andcontrolthealarm
sound.Youcanalsocontrolfromwhichchannel
thedepthinformationshallbetaken.Inthis
context,thephrasechannelisusedasacommon
termtoidentifythecombinationoftransceiver,
transducerandoperatingfrequency.
Analarmistriggeredif:
•Thecurrentdepthisshallower
than
theminimum
alarmdepthyouhavechosen
•Thecurrentdepthisdeeper
thanthemaximumalarmdepthyouhavechosen
Whenthealarmistriggered,theDepthAlarmsboxchangesbackgroundcolourtored.
Thewarningisalsoprovidedasamessageand-ifenabled-asanaudiosignal.
Toacknowledgethealarm,double-clickDepthAlarmstoopenthedialogbox.Select
DisableAlarms.YoucanacknowledgethealarmintheMessagesdialogbox,butwithout
disablingtheactualalarm,newmessageswillappearaslongasthealarmlimitsaremet.
