Recordingechodata
TherawdatarecordingfunctionprovidedbytheES80allowsyoutosaveechodata
usingthe*.rawformat.Thedatalescanbecopiedormovedtootherrecordablemedia,
ortoanothercomputeronthenetwork.Youcankeeptherecordedlesforscientic
studies,futurereferences,orfortrainingpurposes.Therecordingiscontrolledbythe
Recordfunction.
Prerequisites
Beforeyoustartdatarecording,makesurethatyouhavedenedwheretostoretheles.
Todenewhichdisksandfolderstousetosavethedatales,usetheFileSetuppage.
TheFileSetuppageislocatedintheOutputdialogbox.Ifyouwishtosaveyourrecorded
dataonanexternalharddisk,makesurethatitisconnectedtotheProcessorUnit.

Context
OntheES80,youcansaveandrecallechoinformationusingthefollowingmethodsand
formats.
•Bitmapimages(containingthefullES80screencapture)aresavedwheneveryou
selectScreenCaptureonthetopbar.
•RawdataisrecordedusingtheRecordfunctionontheOperationmenu.
•A"historyle"isrecordedautomaticallyandcontinuously.Whentheleisfull,it
willstarttooverwritetheoldestdata,thuscreatinga"ringbuffer".
