Somecomputershavegraphicadaptersthatarenotabletodetecttheresolutionof
thecurrentdisplay.Thislimitationcanalsobecausedbythedisplaycable,orby
imperfectionsinadisplaymatrixsystem.Insuchcases,youmustusethefunctionality
oftheoperatingsystemtoadjustthescreenresolution.

assumedthatyouarefamiliarwiththis
operatingsystem.
Context
Asageneralrecommendation,youshould
setthescreenresolutionashighaspossible.
Thiswillallowyoumore"space"inthe
ES80presentationtooffermoredetailed
information.Thephysicalwidthofyour
topbarwillalsobeextended,andfreespace
foriconsandnavigationalinformation.
Unlessyouchangethehardware(computer,
graphicadapterordisplay),youwillonly
needtodothisonce.
Procedure
1OntheProcessorUnit,closetheES80program.
2Inthebottom-leftcornerofyourdesktop,selecttheWindows
®
Startbutton.
3Ontheright-handsideoftheStartmenu,selectControlPanel.
4ObservethattheControlPanelopens.
5IntheControlPaneldialogbox,underAppearanceandPersonalization,selectAdjust
screenresolution.
6Changethedisplaysettings.
aMakesurethatthecorrectdisplayisshown.
bChangetheresolutiontomaximumpermittedresolutionforthedisplay.
cSelectOK.
dObservethatthescreenresolutionchanges.
eIfyouaresatisedwiththenewresolution,selectKeepchangesinthe
acknowledgedialogbox.
