AdisplayisarequiredpartoftheES80Widebandshndingechosounder.For
bestreadability,thedisplaymustbeprotectedfromglareandhavethecorrectheight
andangle.
AnycommercialdisplaycanbeusedwiththeES80Widebandshndingechosounder,
providedthatthedisplaymeetstheminimumrequirements.
Youmaywishtoseemanyechogramchannelssimultaneously.Alargedisplaywithhigh
resolutionisthenuseful.TheES80softwaresupportsalldisplaysizes.Thevisualquality
oftheES80presentationdependsonthequalityofyourgraphicadapteranddisplay.

ThedisplayisnotastandardpartoftheES80delivery.Thisisacommercialitemthat
canbepurchasedlocally.
Thechosendisplaymustbedesignedformaritimeuse,anditmustmeettheminimum
performancespecications.Youmustalsomakesurethatthechosendisplaysupports
thevideoformatsprovidedbytheProcessorUnit.KongsbergMaritimemayprovide
asuitabledisplay.

Manycomputershavetwovideoports.Twodisplayscanthereforebeusedtoseethe
ES80presentations.Youcanplacethetwodisplaysnexttoeachother .Youcanalso
choosetoplacetheseconddisplayatanotherlocationonthevessel.
TheAddFloatingWindowdialogboxmakesitpossibletograbacompleteechogram
presentationforachosenchannel,andplaceitinaseparatewindow.Tomovea
chosenechogramtoaseparatewindow,simplychoosethechannel(identiedwithits
transducer),andclickOk.Thenewwindowcontainsthechosenechogramchannel.You
canmovethiswindowtoanydisplayusingthefunctionalityprovidedbytheoperating
system.Toclosethewindow,clickthe"X"initstoprightcorner.
