InstallingtheES80operationalsoftware
IfyourES80WidebandshndingechosounderisprovidedwithaProcessorUnit,the
ES80softwarehasalreadybeeninstalled.Ifyouintendtouseyourowncomputer,you
mustinstallthesoftwareyourself.
Prerequisites
Inordertoinstallthesoftware,youneedtherelevantlesetonasuitablemedia.Ifthe
softwareisprovidedonaCDoraDVD,andyourcomputerisnotttedwithasuitable
drive,copythelestoaUSBashdrive.
Note
MakesurethatyouhaveadministrativerightsontheProcessorUnit.Youneedthisto
installthesoftware.Ifyoupurchasedyourowncomputer ,youmustverifythatitmeets
thetechnicalrequirementsforusewiththeES80.Dothisbefore
youinstallthesoftware.
Context
OneormorevalidsoftwarelicensesarerequiredtooperatetheES80.Thesoftware
licensesareinstalledaftertheES80softwareinstallation.TheSoftwareLicensepageis
providedforthispurpose.
Procedure
1TurnontheProcessorUnit.
2Switchoffanyrewallapplications.
3InserttheES80softwaremedia.
IftheES80softwareisprovidedonaCDorDVD,andyourProcessorUnitisnot
ttedwithasuitabledrive,copythelestoaUSBashdrive.
4UsealemanagerapplicationontheProcessorUnittoaccessthesoftwareles.
5Double-clickSetup.exetostarttheinstallation.
Note
Iftheoperatingsystemonyourcomputerisnotsupported,theinstallationwillstop
withanerrormessage.Youmustthenupgradeyourcomputer-oruseadifferent
one-tocompletethesoftwareinstallation.
6Allowtheinstallationwizardtorun.Followtheinstructionsprovided.
Werecommendthatyouinstallthesoftwareinthedefaultfoldersuggestedbythe
wizard.Inthelastdialogboxyouarepermittedtoremoveoldsettings.Sincethisis
yourrstinstallationofthesoftware,youcandisregardthisoption.
7Oncethesoftwareinstallationhasbeencompleted,double-clicktheicononthe
desktoptostarttheprogram.
8Dependingonyouroperatingsystemparameters,certaindialogboxesmayopen.
