YoumustNEVERturnofftheES80bymeansoftheon/offswitchontheProcessorUnit.
YoucanclosetheES80programbyselectingExitonthetopbar.
Context
WhenyoudonotusetheES80,turnoffthedisplayandtheProcessorUnit.Ifyouare
notusingtheES80foralongperiodoftime,werecommendthatyouturnofftheWide
BandTransceiver(WBT).Usetheon/offswitchonthepowersupply,ordisengage
thecircuitbreakers.
Procedure
1SelectExitonthetopbar.
ObservethattheES80programclosesdown.
2IftheProcessorUnitdoesnotturnitselfoffautomatically,usethefunctionality
providedbytheoperatingsystemtoturnitoffmanually.
3Turnoffthedisplay.
Ifrequired,refertotheinstructionsprovidedbythedisplaymanufacturer.
4TurnoffeachWideBandTransceiver(WBT).
TheWideBandTransceiver(WBT)isnotttedwithanon/offswitch.Youcan
leavetheunitpermanentlyturnedon.IfyouarenotusingtheES80foralong
periodoftime,disconnectthepowersupply.
