Procedure
1Clickintheechogramviewyouwishto
change.
Thiswillmaketheview"active".The"active"echogramviewisidentiedwith
athickerborder.
2Onthetopbar,selecttheappropriatebuttontoopentheinformationpane.
3Clickthebottomrightcorneroftheinformationpane,anddragtorequestedsize.
4SelectaTransparencysettingthattsyourrequirements.
Thechosentransparencypercentageisusedonallopeninformationpanes.
5Investigatetheinformationprovidedbytheinformationpane.
Thedepthmeasurebytheselectedchannelisshown.Inthiscontext,thephrase
channelisusedasacommontermtoidentifythecombinationoftransceiver,
transducerandoperatingfrequency.Bydefault,thedepthisshowninmeters.You
canchangethemeasurementunitontheUnitspage.TheUnitspageislocated
intheInstallationdialogbox.

Ifyouhaveproblemswithbottomdetection,youmayconsiderdisablingit.Thiscan
beusefulifyouonlywishtostudytargetsinthewatercolumn.Usethededicated
