1OpentheActivemenu.
2LocatethePing-PingFilter.
3Choosetherequiredsetting.
4SelectApplytoAllifyouwishtousethechosensettingonalltheechogramsof
thesametype.
Choosingthecoloursusedtopresenttheechograms
Severaldifferentcolourscalesarepredenedandavailableforthepresentationof
echograms.Youcaneasilychoosewhichcolourstouse.Thepresentationcolourshave
noeffectontheoperationalperformanceoftheES80.TheColourSetupdialogbox
controlsthepresentationcoloursusedbytheES80.Thisincludesthepalette("skin"),the
numberofcoloursinuse,andthecolourscale.

Whichcolourscaletouseismainlyapersonalpreferencebasedonambientlight
conditions,thenatureoftheechoesandyourownexperience.
Keepinmindthatinthebasicscalewith12colours,eachdiscretecolourrepresentsa
3dBrangeofechosignalstrength.Thisimpliesthatthenextcolourisselectedevery
timetheechostrengthisdoubled.
