Inthelastdialogboxyouarepermittedtoremoveoldsettings.Sincethisisyour
rstinstallationofthesoftware,youcandisregardthisoption.
7Oncethesoftwareinstallationhasbeencompleted,double-clicktheicononthe
desktoptostarttheprogram.
8Dependingonyouroperatingsystemparameters,certaindialogboxesmayopen.

Obtainingandinstallingthesoftwarelicense
TooperatetheES80withatransceiveryouneedavalidsoftwarelicense.Beforeyoucan
usetheES80youmustobtaina"licensestring"andinstallitonyourProcessorUnit.
Withoutalicenseyouwillnotbeabletocommunicatewiththetransceiver.

ThisprocedureassumesthattheES80operatingsoftwarehasbeensuccessfullyinstalled
ontheProcessorUnit.

Thesoftwarelicenseisa32characterhexadecimalstringbasedonthetransceiver’sserial
