3Switchoffanyrewallapplications.
4InserttheES80softwaremedia.
IftheES80softwareisprovidedonaCDorDVD,andyourProcessorUnitisnot
ttedwithasuitabledrive,copythelestoaUSBashdrive.
5UsealemanagerapplicationontheProcessorUnittoaccessthesoftwareles.
6Double-clickSetup.exetostarttheinstallation.
Note
Iftheoperatingsystemonyourcomputerisnotsupported,theinstallationwill
stopwithanerrormessage.Youmustthenupgradeyourcomputer-orusea
differentone-tocompletethesoftwareinstallation.TheES80supportsMicrosoft
®
Windows
®
7SP1(v6.1.7601)andlater .
7Allowtheinstallationwizardtorun.Followtheinstructionsprovided.
Werecommendthatyouinstallthesoftwareinthedefaultfoldersuggestedby
thewizard.
Inthelastdialogboxyouarepermittedtoremoveoldsettings.Readtheoptions
carefully.Donotremoveanyexistingsettingsunlessthisisyourintention.
8Oncethesoftwareinstallationhasbeencompleted,double-clicktheicononthe
desktoptostarttheprogram.
Furtherrequirements
CertainsoftwareupgradesfortheES80alsoincludeanupgradefortheWideBand
Transceiver(WBT).Toensuremaximumoperationalperformance,thesesoftware
versionsmustalwaysbecompatible.
RemovingtheES80operationalsoftware
IfyouwishtoreplaceyourProcessorUnitwithanewunit,orsimplydonotwishtouse
theES80anylonger,youcanremovethesoftware.
