TheES80menusystem
ThemenusystemisbydefaultlocatedontherighthandsideoftheES80presentation.
Themenusareorganizedinatreestructurewithamainmenu,asetofsecondarymenus,
andseveralmenubuttons.Someofthemenubuttonsopendialogboxesorsub-menusto
offeradditionalchoices.
Description
TochangeoperationalsettingsintheES80,observe
themenusystemanditstreestructure.Itoffersamain
menu,asetofsecondarymenus,andseveralmenu
buttons.Eachbuttonshowsthepurposeofthebutton.
Someofthemalsodisplaythecurrentsetting.
TheMainmenuislocatedatthetopofthemenu
structure.Itoffersthemostcommonfunctionsfor
efcientuseoftheES80.Unlessyouhidetheentire
menusystemfromview,theMainmenuisvisibleat
alltimes,evenifyouclosethesecondarymenus.
BelowtheMainmenu,asetofdedicatediconsareused
toopenthesecondarymenus.
AOperationmenu:TheOperationmenuoffersthe
mostcommonfunctionsforbasicES80operation.
BDisplaymenu:TheDisplaymenuprovidesbasicfunctionsrelatedtothescreen
behaviourandpresentationofES80data.
CSetupmenu:TheSetupmenuprovidesbasicfunctionsrelatedtotheES80
installationparametersanditscommunicationwithperipheralsystems.
DActivemenu:TheActivemenuoffersparametersrelatedtocurrentviewsanddata
presentationsshownbytheES80.
EExtrasmenu:TheExtrasmenuis-inspiteofitsnameandlocation-notamenuat
all.This"menu"opensasmallviewtomonitorkeyoperationalparameters.
Tip
Unlessyouneedtomakefrequentchangestotheoperatingparameters,you
maywanttohidethemenufromtheES80presentation.Thiswillgiveyoumore
spacetopresentechodata.Tohidethemenu,selectMenuonthetopbar.Toretrieveit,
selectMenuonemoretime.Whenthemenuishidden,itistemporarilyshownontheleft
orrightsideoftheES80presentationifyoumovethecursortothatposition.
