1ObservetheScreenCapturestabatthebottomoftheES80presentation.
2SelecttheScreenCapturestabtoopenthescreencapturebrowser.
3Inthebrowser,selectOpenImageFoldertoopentheoperatingsystemfolder.
Inthelemanagerutility,locatethefolderyoudenedontheFileSetuppage.
4Navigatetothefolderwiththelogles.
c:\programdata\Simrad\ES80\Log
5CopythelestotheUSBashdrive.
6Closethelemanagerutility.
7Sendthele(s)bye-mailtoyoursupportcontact.
CheckingthetransducerbymeansoftheBITEfunctionality
TheES80canbesetuptoworkwithoneormoretransceivers.Inturn,eachtransceiver
isassignedoneormoretransducers.BymeansoftheBITE(Built-InTestEquipment)
system,youcanchecktheimpedanceofeachtransducerduringnormaloperation.Any
errorsaretheneasilydetected.
Prerequisites
TheES80isturnedon,anditisworkingnormally.Neithertoolsnorinstrumentsare
required.
Context
Thetransducerimpedanceismeasuredinrealtimeduringeachtransmission("ping").
ForLFMtransmissions,theresultsareshownintwoplots.
•IfthecurrenttransmitmodeisCW,thex-axisshowstime(oneping).
•Theotherplotshowsthephaseasafunctionofthefrequencyinthesameping.
Ineachplot,onecolouredcurveisprovidedforeachtransducerortransducersector.A
singlebeamtransducerisshownwithonlyonecurve.Asplitbeamtransducerisshown
withseveralcurves,oneforeachsector.
