fouroreighttransmissions("pings")areaveragedtodistinguishrealechoesfromnoise
andinterference.
Tip
TheBiomassinformationpanedisplaysanindexofthebiomassinthecurrentechogram
view.Youmayexperienceveryhighandunrealisticbiomassvaluesthatdonotmatch
theinformationintheechogram.TrythePing-PingFilter.
Toavoidallinterference,afullsynchronizationofthevariousacousticinstrumentsis
required.
