HardnessLinefunction.
Description
TheHardnessLinecanbeaddedtoyourechogramtoretrieveadditionalinformation.It
appearsasthickcolourcodedlinethatfollowsthebottomcontour.Thislinedoesnot
removeinformation,itsimply"pushes"theechoinformationfurtherdowninorderto
showyouthebottomreectivity.YoucanusetheHardnessLineandtheBottomLine
functionssimultaneously,buteachcannotbeusedtogetherwiththeWhiteLine.

Thisisanoptionalfunction.Inordertousethisfunctionality,adedicatedsoftware
licenseisrequired.Contactyoulocaldealerformoreinformation.
Whenyoustudythebottomhardness,youcanlearnmoreaboutthebottom.Certain
speciesareknowntopreferspeciîš¿cbottomconditions.Withmoreknowledge,youare
betterqualiîš¿edtoestimatethepossiblecatch.

hardness,youcanalsousetheBottomHardness
informationpane.Thecoloursontheleftsideof
thescaleindicateasoftbottom,whilethecolours
ontherighthandsideindicateaharderbottom.
