referredtoas"chirp",andmeansthatthetransmissionfrequencychangesfroma"start"
frequencytoan"end"frequencywithinthetransmission.Inordertousethefrequency
sweep("chirp")functionality,youmustusefrequencymodulated(FM)pulses.Youmust
alsouseawidebandtransducerthatsupportsthecompletefrequencyrange.

TheStartFrequencyandEndFrequencyparametersareusedtosetupafrequencysweep
("chirp").Iftheparametersforstartandendfrequenciesareunavailable,thetransducer
usedontherelevantchanneldoesnotsupportwidebandtransmissions.Inordertousethe
frequencysweep("chirp")functionality,youmustusefrequencymodulated(FM)pulses.
