OnceyouhavepoweredupthecompleteES80system,andstartedtheES80program,
youarereadytostarttheactualoperation.Providedthatoneormoretransducersand
transceivershavebeeninstalled,theES80willreceiveinformationfromeach"ping",
andpresenttheechogramdata.
Observethesebriefprocedurestofamiliarizeyourselfwiththebasicoperation.
Theproceduresarepartlyprovidedtogetyouacquaintedwiththebasicfunctionality
offeredbytheES80,andpartlytosetuptheES80fornormaluse.TheES80startsup
usingthesamesettingsasthelasttimeyouusedit.Ifthesesettingsareacceptable,
continueoperation.

TheproceduresassumethattheES80issetupwithatleastonefrequencychannel.If
thisisnotthecase,observetherelevantinstallationprocedures.Inthiscontext,the
