coveredbytheES80.Therangeisdenedfromaselectedstartrange,anddownto
avaluebeneaththecurrentbottomdepth.Therangevalueshownandselectedisby
defaultonlyappliedtoyourcurrentlyselectedechogram.

Description
TheRangesettingdeneshow"deep"youwishtheES80todetectechoes.Inother
words,thisistheverticaldistancebetweenthe"top"andthe"bottom"oftheechogram.
TheRangesettingspeciesthe"bottom"depth,whiletheStartRangesettingspecies
the"top"depth.
Therangeyouspecifyappliestothecurrentlyselectedechogram.Itisidentiedwitha
thickborder.Severalechogramtypesareavailable.

Ifyouwishtoapplythenewrangesettingtoallthecurrentechogramsofthesame
type,selectApplytoall.
ToselectwhichechogramtypesyouwishtoseeintheES80presentations,usethe
Echogramdialogbox.
YoucanonlytypeanewvalueifacomputerkeyboardisconnectedtoyourES80
ProcessorUnit.Withoutakeyboard,selectapredenedvalue.Youcanalsoadjustthe
settingbyclickingthe[+]and[−]buttons.

maketheechogramstartfromtheseasurface(providedthatthetransducer
offsethasbeendened).SetRangetothecurrentdepthplus20meters.The
echogramwillnowshowtheareafromtheseasurfaceanddownto20
meters"below"thebottom.Thebottomcontouriseasilydetectedwhen
thedepthchanges.
