4SelectOKtosavetheselectedsettings,andthencloseallthedialogboxes.

starttheES80.
TurningontheES80toPassivemode
InordertousetheES80,youmustrstturniton.Inthissituationwedonotwantthe
ES80totransmit,sowewillleaveitinPassivemode.
Prerequisites
ThisprocedureassumesthattheentireES80installationhasbeeninspected.Allpower
sourceshavebeenmeasuredandveried.Allsystemcablesandconnectorshavebeen
checkedandtested.TheES80hasbeeninstalledontheProcessorUnit.
Context
Theprogramisnot
automaticallystartedwhentheProcessorUnitisturnedon.Oncethe
operatingsystemhasstarted,selecttheES80programicononthedesktop.
WhentheES80ispoweredupandsettoNormalmode,itwillusethetransducerto
transmitacousticpulsesintothewater.
Caution
YoumustneverstartES80transmissions("pinging")whentheshipisindrydock.The
transducermaybedamagedifittransmitsinopenair.
