IftheES80softwareisprovidedonaCDoraDVD,andyourcomputerisnotttedwith
asuitabledrive,copythelestoaUSBashdrive.

operatingsystemutilitiesfor
lehandling.

TheES80needsoneormoresoftwarelicensestowork.Eachsoftwarelicensecode
"unlocks"oneWideBandTransceiver(WBT)foroperationalusewithasetofpredened
properties.Thesoftwarelicencesarenotaffectedbythesoftwareupgrade.
ThenewversionoftheES80willautomaticallyreplacetheoldversion.
