TheMainmenuislocatedatthetopofthemenustructure.Itoffersthemostcommon
functionsforefcientuseoftheES80.Unlessyouhidetheentiremenusystemfrom
view,theMainmenuisvisibleatalltimes,evenifyouclosethesecondarymenus.

Bydefault,theMainmenuisopen.Itispositionedontherighthandsideof
theES80presentation.
Onthetopbar,usetheMenubuttontohideorshowthemenu.Whenthemenu
systemishidden,itappearstemporarilyontheleftorrighthandsideofthescreen
ifyoumovethecursortothatposition.

previouslysavedusersettings.

TheRangefunctionallowsyoutospecifythe
maximumtheoreticalverticaldepthcoveredbytheES80.Therangeisdened
fromaselectedstartrange,anddowntoavaluebeneaththecurrentbottomdepth.
Therangevalueshownandselectedisbydefaultonlyappliedtoyourcurrently
selectedechogram.

valuedenesfromwhichdepthinthewatercolumnthepresentationshallstart.The
depthvalueshownandselectedisbydefaultonlyappliedtothecurrentlyselected

ThepurposeoftheGainfunctionistoadjusttheecholevelintheES80presentations.
AdjustingtheGainyoucancontrolhowmuchamplicationisappliedtothereceived

(identiedwithathickborder).
