1Connecttheperipheraltrawlsystemtoanavailablecommunicationportonyour
ProcessorUnit.

2OpentheSetupmenu.
3OntheSetupmenu,selectInstallation.
ObservethattheInstallationdialogboxopens.Thisdialogboxcontainsanumber
ofpagesselectedfromthemenuontheleftside.
4OntheleftsideoftheInstallationdialogbox,selectSensorInstallation.
5SelectITI-FStoimportinformationfromatrawlsystem.
6Selecttheportyouwishtouse(serialorLAN).
7Ifyouwanttocheckthecommunicationparameters,selectInspectPort.

Youcannotmakeanychangeshere.Tochangethecommunicationparameters,use
theI/OSetuppage.TheI/OSetuppageislocatedintheInstallationandOutput
dialogboxes.
8IfyouwanttocheckthattheperipheralsystemistransmittingdatatotheES80,
selectMonitor.
ThePortMonitordialogboxprovidesonetextboxforincomingmessages(Rx
Data),andoneforoutgoingmessages(TxData).Usetheseboxesandyour
knowledgeofthedatacommunicationtoinvestigatethedatagrams.ThePort
Monitordialogboxisatoolfordebuggingpurposes.Itisneitherrequirednor
intendedfornormaloperationoftheES80.
