4 Vehicle guidance setup EZ-Steer steering system
Before you take the measurements, position your vehicle as follows:
l Park the vehicle on level ground.
l Make sure that the vehicle is straight, with the centerline of the body parallel to the wheels.
Take the vehicle measurements.

Wheelbase Center (the axle) of the front wheel to the center of the back wheel.
Note that the wheelbase measurement for:
l Tracked vehicles is exactly half of the length of the track.
l Articulated 4WD vehicles is half of the distance between the center of the
front and rear wheels.
Antenna height Ground to the top of the GNSS antenna.
Antenna to axle

Center (the axle) of the front or rear wheel to the top of the GNSS antenna.
Note – Make sure that you take this measurement to within 7.6cm (3in.) as
an incorrect distance may result in poor steering performance.
Take the measurement from the antenna to the correct point of your vehicle:
l Rear axle:
l
l MFWD
l Sprayer
l Floater
l Truck
l Front axle:
l
l 4wd tractor
l Combine
l Track center: Tracked tractor
If the antenna is:
l In front of the axle, enter a Forward distance
l Behind the axle, enter a Behind distance
